MRCOG PART I PREPARATION COURSE
Structure of the course
This is an exam preparation
course and is not intended to teach you the biological sciences
from scratch! The course timetable has recently been up-dated to include sessions for Extended Matching Questions (EMQ's) which have been added to this exam from the September 2007 sitting onwards. We hope
to help you develop a technique for approaching the exam
questions and to familiarise yourself with their style. All
the subject headings of the exam will be covered. The syllabus covers the applied sciences “mapped” against the modules of the core curriculum for Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
In each session you will be presented with groups of questions (MCQ or EMQ) at the pace relevant to the actual exam, followed by a review of the correct answers and discussion of the questions. You will be given all the question
material after each session and all the relevant textbooks are available.
